New Belgium, Red Rocks, Chickens

Quite a fun couple of days for us Stewarts

On Thursday we went to visit our friend in Ft. Collins. She took us over to the New Belgium Brewery, where we got a kind of behind-the-scenes-of-the-behind-the-scenes tour. She had a friend who knew an employee. It was quite fantastic. We got to check out the creative department and meet the designers of the bottles and logos, which was ultimately cool. Many a delicious beer was guzzled.

We hung out at a local bar near the downtown area and wound up spending the night at our friend’s house. And we were delighted to find out that her neighbor owned CHICKENS!

Both the chicken and wife were gleeful about this moment

On our way home the next day, we stopped by the famous Red Rocks. Needless to say, it was incredible.

That’s a lot of natural beauty in one picture

I’m scared of heights so this pic had my palms sweaty

Awesome pic my wife took with Denver in the background

Tonight we’re going to see Wilco in Vail, as I mentioned before, and it’s supposed to feel like TEN DEGREES. The venue is outdoors. That will be interesting for us Southern folk.
