Been a while since I blogged so I thought I’d return with something completely useless but mildly interesting (perhaps only to me).
Wallace = Kyrie Irving
Quick as all get out. Confident. Aggressive. A nightmare to try and guard. Kyrie is young but already a superstar. Wallace is slender and athletic, darting here and there with ease and making jumps my wife and I can’t believe. And although just a few months old, he is quickly becoming the alpha of the group. He’s not afraid to take on anyone and has seemingly endless energy.
Evie = Arvydas Sabonis (latter stages of career)
Big. Lumbering. Half the athleticism of his former self. However, Sabonis was clever, crafty, and had an extremely high basketball IQ. He had a knack for pulling off unbelievable passes and little scoop shots, although each trip up the court was a physical struggle. Evie is overweight and not able to make all the jumps she once could, but get her in a fight and she transforms into a jujitsu master. She knows how to use momentum and leverage to knock other cats away, and is deceptively quick.
Uzi = David Robinson
Gentle giant. Great disposition. Strong, muscular, and skilled. Uzi is thick with muscle, but he wouldn’t hurt a fly. Don’t underestimate him, though. He can still hold his own in any tussle.
Ari = Larry Bird
Widely renowned as the guy who talked the most trash of anyone who ever stepped on the court, Larry remains one of the best and most beloved basketball players of all time. Ari is constantly meowing. Constantly. And though we don’t know if it’s trash she’s talking, she’s incredibly lovable. And just like Bird’s nickname, Ari’s sweetness is the stuff of Legend.
